Hey There, I am Melissa
Think of me as the therapist who will meet you where you are while helping you figure out where you want to go. I bring warmth, honesty, and a little real-life perspective to the therapy room—because therapy doesn't have to feel stiff or clinical to create meaningful change
Fun facts:
Fitness has been a big part of my life—I spent several years coaching group fitness and am also a Certified Personal Trainer.
I have a special place in my heart for women, moms, and families navigating all the changes that come with different seasons of life.
I'm a big believer that recognizing your strengths is just as important as figuring out what's not working.
My background in addiction and recovery taught me that change is rarely a straight line—and that's okay.
I believe therapy works best when you can show up as yourself. No perfect answers required.
So, you’re here.
Maybe life looks fine from the outside, but on the inside you’re overwhelmed, stuck, or just tired of carrying so much. Maybe you’re adjusting to motherhood, navigating a relationship, moving through recovery, or finding yourself in a season of life you weren’t quite prepared for.
You don’t have to have it all figured out before coming to therapy.
I believe therapy should feel human, collaborative, and free of judgment. A place where you can be honest about what’s really going on—and start figuring out what you want to do about it.
More about what that looks like:
My style is warm, conversational, and direct. I want you to feel understood and supported, but I also believe therapy is a place where we can get curious about the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck.
I use a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach, which means we won’t only focus on what’s going wrong. We’ll also pay attention to what you’ve already survived, what’s working, and the strengths you may have forgotten you have.
Whether you’re navigating parenthood, relationships, recovery, emotional overwhelm, or a major life transition, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you create change that actually feels meaningful in your life.
